MAN TALK: How to Handle REJECTION, HURT and ANGER
The First Baptist Missionary Church (FBMC) along with the Midlands Fatherhood Coalition, presents:
MAN TALK, a platform for men and young men to discuss and share their feelings and insights.
On Tuesday, September 17th we are inviting all men to come and learn how we can better express our feelings to improve our health, mentally, physically, and spiritually.
We have invited Dr. Napoleon Wells, Ph.D. to be our guest facilitator. Dr. Wells is a Clinical Psychologist. Dr. Wells, having received his training and Ph.D. from Fordham University, began his professional career as a post-traumatic stress disorder treatment specialist with the Department of Veterans Affairs. Currently, Dr. Wells is a faculty member with the Department of Social Sciences at Claflin University. Dr. Wells has worked extensively in the areas of emotional wellness, anxiety/stress management, and in psychologically conceptualizing and combating racism. He performed his TEDx Talk on the topic, The Cure for Racism.
On Tuesday, September 17th, we will focus on, “How to Handle REJECTION, HURT and ANGER”
On Tuesday, September 24th, we will focus on, “How to Receive and Show LOVE”
We are inviting ALL men, 17 years and older, to come out and share together, learn together, and be better men in our communities.
