Derby Day Sumter Fundraiser-POSTPONED Stay Tuned for NEW DATE
Derby Day Sumter brings the excitement and pageantry of the Kentucky Derby to Downtown Sumter on the first Saturday in May each year.
Derby Day Sumter features a live broadcast of the fastest 2 minutes in sports inside of the Sumter Opera House and is followed by an evening of Southern grace, charm, and hospitality that wouldn't be complete without great food, derby fashion, live music from the Tru Sol Band, and a silent auction that makes any Derby event memorable.
All proceeds from Derby Day Sumter support United Way of Sumter, Clarendon and Lee Counties in their efforts to support the community needs in Education, Income and Health.

$50/ticket in advance or $60 at the event. Price includes admission, cuisine from local vendors (5:30-7:30 PM), Beer & Wine from 5:30-9:00 PM, Live viewing of the Kentucky Derby at 6:50 PM, Performance from Tru Sol Band from 7:00 - 10:00 PM.
