The ChamberPak – The ChamberPak is a bi-monthly program provided to Chamber members that is an effective marketing tool and an inexpensive way to market your business. For less than the cost of postage, we do all the work for you. You provide 1,350 flyers and for $100, we stuff and mail it to all Chamber members. This is a great and cost-effective way to reach the Sumter Business Community.
The Connector – This quarterly newsletter is designed to communicate with the members and surrounding community about issues affecting business and news of the Chamber. New members are allowed to publish a brief article about their business or organization in the “New Member Profile” section and any type of press release can be run about members who change jobs, win an award, get promoted or offer a new service in the “Tell Us Your News” section. There is no additional fee for this opportunity because it is included with their membership.
Guide to Sumter Membership Directory – Published annually, the Guide to Sumter is an all inclusive look at our community for newcomers and lifelong residents alike. We provide information on all aspects of our community along with a detailed listing of all of our members, their contact information listed in alphabetical order, and a simple yellow pages style section - listing members by category. Over 4,000 of these guides are published and distributed each year.
City/County Map – A locally produced map that is completed every two years to furnish our community with up-to-date residential and business street information. It is available for $2, with exception that the first five are free to our members and large orders, over 50 or more, can be purchased for $1 a piece.
Directory and Minority Owned Businesses – This publication is designed to list all the chamber businesses that are either minority or women owned. Many people come in the chamber asking for a business listing of minority business, especially those with government contracts looking to find businesses to fulfill certain aspects of their contracts. This helps connect those businesses to our members. It is available at no cost to everyone.
Manufacturers Directory - This list of local manufacturers shows main contact names, titles, addresses, phone/fax numbers, SIC codes, employee counts and a brief description of the company’s products. It is available at no cost to Chamber members, and for $20 for non-members.
Clubs and Organizations Directory – This listing of local clubs/organizations offers contact names, addresses, and phone and/or fax numbers. This publication will also give a brief description of the club/organization. The directory helps people get connected to organizations when they have time to volunteer or need a specific service. It is available at no cost to members and $5 to non-members.
